1. Winter War 1939-1940. Veikko Happonen was born 2.6.1916 in Vehmersalmi. He died of his wounds on behalf of his home and fatherland 24.9.1940. Translation from Veikko’s obituary. Veikko died in the Winter War. The month may be in error, because the Winter War ended in March 1940.
